A story of triumph and deception, courage and love, YuLong: The Jade Dragon begins as the ancient Chinese kingdom of Emperor Tianzi is under attack, forcing the benevolent, peace-loving ruler to draft a massive army to protect his people. In a tiny rural village, Hua Mulan, a brave, boisterous and ingenious young woman defies tradition and disguises herself as a soldier to take the place of her elderly father in the ranks.

Circus Juventas proudly presents YuLong: The Jade Dragon, with an Imperial Palace along the legendary Silk Road and an astounding array of battles, dances and drumming, plus traditional Chinese circus acts and choreography developed in partnership with the CAAM Chinese Dance Theatre.
