Do I need particular skills
to join?
No, many of our classes have no prerequisites. We offer many introductory
classes which teach circus arts fundamentals.
Is it dangerous?
It actually has a much safer record than gymnastics, hockey
and football, to name several. Overall, there are extensive safety mechanisms
in place. Both active and passive spotting contribute to our high safety
record. Safety is our first priority, and preparation is heavily emphasized.
Is there a large commitment of time involved?
This is largely up to the student. Some of our students take
a single class per session. Others take 3 or 4 classes per session, with
a correspondingly larger commitment of time.
Are there animals in Circus Juventas?
No, our vision is to combine theatrical fantasy with artistic
skill and original costuming. Not a single animal in the ring.
How many class sessions per year are there at Circus Juventas?
There are 4 mains session per year at Circus Juventas. Fall - Winter - Spring - Summer. Between sessions there are opportunities to participate in workshops, special sessions etc.
How do I register for classes at Circus Juventas?
There are several ways to register for classes at Circus Juventas:

Is Circus Juventas for kids only?
We do offer adult classes but we save the spotlight for the kids. :-) The circus arts are for everyone who is interested in staying in shape, learning something new and having a great time! Read about our Adult Classes!
Will my children want to run away and join the
circus?
In our entire history we have had two students interested in
professional performing, both with the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil,
an incredibly high caliber organization in the circus arts world. Overall,
as with any sport, a student's skill level must be exceedingly high to
make it in the professional world.
