Rachel Walker

Rachel was the original Solo Swinging Trapeze artist with Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza, from 2006-2008. She has also worked with Circus Discordia, the Dresden Dolls, and numerous influential directors/choreographers such as Victor Fomine and Andre Simard (Cirque du Soleil), Shana Carroll (Les 7 Doigts de la Main), and Aimee Hancock (Cirque Eloize). With over a decade of experience on stage, Rachel has a comprehensive technical and artistic approach in her teaching.

 
Denise Wal

In 1996 , Brazilian-born Denise Wal and 20 other students were chosen to participateto the “Universidade do Circo,” a workshop given by french teachers and organized by Pierrot Bidon, the founder of Archaos Circus, a prominent troupe in the new circus movement. In 1997 she founded the “Circo Nosotros”. More recently, she has been an ongoing sensation in her extended tour with Cirque Du Soleil’s Quidam; her popularity in St. Paul is just as enthusiastic as we welcome her Corde Lisse/Silks skills back for the second time.

 
Angelo Iodice (a.k.a. AJ Silver)

Angelo Iodice, also known as AJ Silver, is considered one of the finest western acts in the business today. He has studied dance/movement and character development, and the western arts such as trick roping, bullwhip artistry and bolas. Surprisingly, Silver did not grow up on a ranch in Texas, but was born and raised in the Bronx. He fell in love with show business, especially the circus, as a youngster, and, after being informed by his parents that he could not have an elephant for his pet, he took to horses and riding, and saw his first trick-riding exhibition at a rodeo presentation at Madison Square Garden. He went on to learn rodeo expertise from a professional rodeo couple. Eventually, after receiving a Communications and Education Degree at Pace University, he hit the rodeo trail and has now crossed the USA as a rodeo performer in such venues as Cirque du Soleil’s Solstrom, across Europe and Circus Flora.

 
Wolfgang Bientzle

Wolfgang has worked with the wheel for over 35 years and is considered the foremost expert in the field. Artistic Director of CircEsteem in Chicago, Illinois, he is an eight-time German Wheel World Champion and performed on the German Wheel with Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas show Mystere for three years and in Quidam in Amsterdam. He has appeared on The Late Show with Dave Letterman, America's Got Talent and Viva Variety.

 
Bryce Davidson

Bryce Davidson has been teaching athletic disciplines for over 10 years. In the past six years he has specialized as a Breakdancing instructor and has the opportunity to teach students of all shapes and sizes ranging from ages 4-46! He has taught classes and workshops for dance studios, elementary and high schools, special events and more. He loves to teach! In addition to teaching, Bryce also performs improv comedy, draws Caricatures at Valleyfair and Mall of America, airbrushes t-shirts, and does on-camera acting. Fabio Dorea

Fabio was born and brought up in Brazil, where he began his artistic endeavours at the age of 13 in a theatre production in the north of the country. In 1992 he left his hometown for Rio de Janeiro where he attended the University of Rio; he graduated five years later with degrees as a performer in Dramatic Arts and as a Teacher in Dramatic Arts. In 1998 Fabio received his diploma in Aerial Acrobatics from the Brazilian National Circus School while simultaneously being trained as a modern and classical dancer.

In January 2001 Fabio received his first study grant from Capes (Brazil) and moved to Montreal to specialize his rope training with the world-renowned Victor Fomine.

With more than ten years experience on stage, Fabio has been around the world in various projects and disciplines linked to circus performance, dance and the theatre. He has worked for various Circus companies such as: Cirkus Cirkor, Circo da Madrugada, Cirque du Soleil, Generating Company, and Cirque Le Masque amongst others.

In 2003 Fabio won the Silver prize for his rope piece, "Trip" from the 2nd International Brazilian Circus Festival; in 2005 he won the Honours Prize from the 10th International Circus Festival of Wuqiao in China. Fabio has also been asked to act as an artistic consultant, a teacher and an aerial choreographer during his career.

 
Jesse Dryden

Jesse conquered his fear of clowns by becoming the first Canadian graduate of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. He got his start as a street performer, and went on to perform with Cirque du Soleil and coach at outreach circuses in Africa with Cirque du Monde. Currently, Jesse is the Creative Director of Vermont's Circus Smirkus Big Top tour, plus he tours with Cirque Mechanique's "Birdhouse Factory" and is a consulting director for the National Circus School and
New England Center for Circus Arts.

 
Austin McCormick

Austin is a Julliard-trained choreographer, with off-Broadway productions that have earned rave reviews. He is the founder of Company XIV, a dance/theatre company based in Brooklyn, New York, and was commissioned by the New York Baroque Dance Company to create original work which premiered in September 2007 at the Mark Morris Dance Center. Recently, Company XIV became the first company to perform at the Biblioteca Palafoxiana, a Baroque library from 1664 in Puebla, Mexico.

 
Wes Hatfield
Wes Hatfield is the choreographer who successfully staged the Wall Trampoline act for RavensManor (2009).
 
Juliana Neves

Amongst many other achievements, Juliana joined Cirque du Soleil as one of the principal characters in Dralion. She originated her part and performed in 1001 shows over three years. Juliana created the aerial pas-de-deux act on silks together with Cirque aerial coach Andre Simard, which, in addition to her solo silks act, were acclaimed by the critics as one of the highlights of Dralion.

 
Paul Ponce

Argentinian Paul Ponce is a sixth-generation entertainer. Since the age of 7, he has performed in major shows, circuses, theaters, operas, ice shows and TV specials around the world. He gives the classic discipline of juggling a unique and personalized style and presentation.

 
Laura Stullich
Laura Stullich is a junior world champion gymnast from Marburg, Germany. She captured the 2005 Junior World championship in spirals, straight-line, vault and all-around! She has trained in gymnastics throughout most of her youth, and at the age of nine was a world class German Wheel competitor. Laura has taught at Circus Juventas previously and performed in Atlanticus and RavensManor.
